I specialize in an intuitive blend of Deep Tissue, Shiatsu, Reiki, Swedish, Hot Stone, and Sports Massage to suit the unique needs of each client, using trigger point therapy and myofascial or Hot Stone techniques to enhance the depth of my work as needed. Integrating Western and Eastern approaches to massage and health along with yoga and meditation feels natural to me and it’s how I live my life. Over my 17 year practice, I have developed a unique approach that is both intuitive and scientific, nurturing and empowering, healing for the mind, body and spirit.
Sessions encompass not only the hands-on massage, but time for relaxed intake and pre-chat to inform the session, and self-care instruction to allow you to continue the healing at home between sessions. The post-massage time may include custom yoga asana / stretching sequences, in-home ergonomic assessment and guided meditation or meditation instruction for stress relief.
I will travel to your home or office and set up a comfortable relaxing environment there.

Claire has been drawn to healing work her whole life. She received her first Reiki attunement and started her first “backrub business” in college 16 years ago, while studying literature and music. She decided to pursue bodywork as a career and has since received 1000 hours of training in 2 years of school, first at the Chicago School of Massage Therapy and later at the Swedish Institute in New York City, where she made a heart connection with the practice of Shiatsu. Integrating Western and Eastern techniques is an essential part of her practice. To build on this, over the last 5 years she has also practiced, studied and taught yoga, meditation and Buddhist philosophy around the US and abroad. Over her years of connecting with diverse clients across country, she has developed a unique approach that is both intuitive and scientific, nurturing and empowering, healing the mind, body and spirit.
